Course Description

A two-hour awareness course that helps adult care staff recognise abuse, respond immediately, and meet CQC safeguarding expectations with confidence.

Aligned with Aligned with Care Act safeguarding duties, CQC Regulation 13, Mental Capacity Act principles, and person-centred adult care practice. and legislation including Care Act 2014 and Human Rights Act 1998, this course helps learners build confidence, strengthen judgement, and apply safer day-to-day practice.
